Is the Meshy AI app free?
Yes, the app itself is free to download, and starter credits support initial creation. Generating beyond your free monthly allocation, or downloading newest-model output, requires a paid plan or credit pack. See pricing.
Can I 3D print straight from my phone?
Yes models can be sent directly to 3D-printing apps, with STL and 3MF export optimized for slicers. See 3D printing on Meshy for the full workflow, including Auto Split for oversized prints.
Do my phone creations show up on the web?
Yes all models sync to your Meshy account across iOS, Android and the web app. It's the same credit wallet everywhere, including the API.
What file formats can I export?
STL, GLB, FBX, OBJ, USDZ, 3MF and Blend seven formats covering game engines, 3D printing and most DCC tools.
Do I need 3D experience to use the app?
No. The app targets anyone who can photograph an object or type a description no prior 3D modeling experience required.

What data does the app collect?
Per the app's published safety disclosure, inputs (photos and videos you capture) are encrypted in transit and not shared with third parties. Users can request data deletion via support@meshy.ai.
