Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information meshyiai.com collects when you visit, how cookies and third-party services like Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and embedded YouTube videos work here, and the choices and rights you have.

Effective date: June 12, 2026 · Last updated: June 12, 2026

Scope note: this policy covers meshyiai.com only - an independent, unofficial educational and information hub. It does not cover the official Meshy AI platform at www.meshy.ai, which we do not operate. If you create an account, generate models, or make payments on the Meshy platform, that activity is governed by Meshy's own privacy policy, available on their official site. See our About page for full details on our relationship (none) with Meshy.

1. Who we are

meshyiai.com ("we," "us," "this site") is an independent, unofficial informational website publishing guides and articles about the Meshy AI 3D generation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meshy. This site is read-only from your perspective: we do not offer user accounts, logins, comment systems, newsletters, or payment processing, and we never ask for your Meshy credentials or payment details.

2. Information we collect

Because this site has no accounts or forms, we collect very little directly. The information involved in your visit falls into three categories:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data, and we have no interest in identifying individual visitors.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. On this site, cookies are set by third-party Google services, not by us directly:

ServicePurposeType
Google Analytics (gtag.js)Anonymous usage statistics - which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, how the site performsAnalytics
Google AdSenseServing and measuring ads; may personalize ads based on prior browsing where you have consentedAdvertising
YouTube (embedded videos)Video playback; we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which delays cookie-setting until you play a videoFunctional / third-party

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the site remains fully readable with cookies blocked. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent mechanism governs whether non-essential cookies are set at all.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used - page views, approximate geography, device categories, and traffic sources. This helps us decide which guides to write and improve. Analytics data is pseudonymous to us; we do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we do not combine analytics data with any other source. Google processes this data per its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as Google's advertising cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Key points:

6. Embedded content and external links

Our articles embed YouTube videos (via the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, which does not set advertising cookies until you press play) and may display images hosted on third-party servers, including Google-hosted images and, in some articles, images served from Meshy's official content delivery networks. When your browser loads embedded content, the hosting third party receives standard technical data such as your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own policy. Behaviorally, visiting a page with embedded content is equivalent to visiting that third party's site.

This site also links out extensively - most importantly to the official Meshy platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites. Once you leave meshyiai.com (for example, to sign up at meshy.ai), the destination's privacy policy applies - for the Meshy platform, read Meshy's privacy policy on their official site.

7. How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to: operate, secure, and improve the site; understand aggregate readership so we can prioritize content; display advertising that funds the site; respond to messages you send us; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, we do not build visitor profiles ourselves, and we have no data to link your reading here to your activity on the Meshy platform.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our processing rests on: consent (analytics and advertising cookies, where consent is required); legitimate interests (basic technical logging needed to serve and secure a website, and responding to messages you initiate); and legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time via your browser or the consent controls, without affecting your ability to read the site.

9. How information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. Data is shared only with: service providers that make the site work (hosting infrastructure, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, YouTube - each processing data under its own terms); and authorities if disclosure is genuinely required by law. There is no data sharing relationship of any kind between this site and Meshy.

10. Data retention

Server logs held by our hosting provider rotate on that provider's standard schedule. Google Analytics data is retained per our GA4 retention settings and then deleted or aggregated. Correspondence you send us is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter, then deleted. Cookie lifetimes are set by the issuing service and are visible in your browser's cookie inspector.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Practical notes for this site:

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as no consistent industry standard exists; Global Privacy Control signals are honored where the applicable law requires it.

12. Children's privacy

This site's content is general-audience informational material and is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age applicable in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. International data transfers

This site is available worldwide, and the third-party services we use (Google Analytics, AdSense, YouTube) process data on infrastructure that may be located outside your country, including in the United States. These providers rely on recognized transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and applicable adequacy frameworks, as described in their own policies.

14. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and because we deliberately collect almost nothing, the realistic risk surface is small. No website can guarantee absolute security, so the strongest protection remains structural: we never ask for passwords, payment details, or account information - if any page appearing to be this site asks for those, it is not us (see the safety note on our About page).

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site, the services we use, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

16. Contact

For any privacy question, rights request, or correction related to this site, reach us through the contact option on meshyiai.com and include "Privacy" in your subject line. We aim to acknowledge all privacy inquiries promptly.
